At Hutchins Heavy Industries we haven't been lucky enough to be able to dedicate ourselves to just one facet of transport, originally buying a truck to go back to harvest work as a month long break from mining workshops, tipper work evolved into moving machinery and fixed plant to build a greenfield mine site which would then merge into demobilising another mine site after a global financial crisis. Mining equipment then merged into seasons of grape harvesting in the early months of the year which led to fertiliser deliveries for rural customers which would culminate in the harvest of cereal crops months later delivering to receivals across the countryside and ports on the coast, all the while trying to maintain customers heavy equipment in and around truck work. In 2015 after a nightshift swing at Maules Creek, the decision was made to truck fulltime and since then have battled through droughts, floods, fire, high fuel prices, global pandemics, fuel shortages, interest rate hikes but its been worth it to deliver to my valued customers who've all been through the same ordeals..... and still go back for more, some of them even with a smile and a laugh and listen to me complain about the caravans or city traffic and let me move their grain or fetiliser , their hay or products, their machines or equipment, the weird and the wonderful and been involved in some world class projects along the way.
